SYNOYPSIS
NEST follows two groups - A team of rebels leaving their camp, prepared to attack their enemy for much needed supplies, and the scientists at NEST which is a secretive organization attempting to rule the post-apocalyptic world.
With the rebels, we follow Samson and Ailbhe, rebel soldiers grappling with the difficult tasks and dark reality of what they have to survive. Whilst at NEST, we follow doctors Morrigan and Hale, the leader and her right-hand, as they interrogate a rebel prisoner and deal with the fallout of the rebel attack.

After a cataclysmic solar flair caused the apocalypse, the world reverted back to pre- electonic technology, life without cities or countries, and the sole focus of survival. N.E.S.T. follows two groups: the ‘Rebels’ seek to attack a nearby compound to destabilise the ruthless ruling power there, and collect supplies. At the compound, N.E.S.T., the aforementioned rulers, torture a rebel to discover the rebel plans, research to learn how to control violent mutants, and cope with the fallout of the oncoming attack.
NEST is a proof of concept for the feature film. Showcasing every talented artist working on the film. In the Short Film, we follow the characters as they battle between power, morals
and survival, in a post-apologetic world where mutants roam and various factions of humanity. This will all be showed within the Short Film.

Szilard Pusztai
Szilard Pusztai, a young filmmaker, discovered his love for cinema at age 7, captivated by the art of storytelling. Driven by an insatiable creative spirit, Szilard continually pushes the boundaries of his craft, leading ambitious projects alongside fellow creatives. At 23, he passionately collaborates with like-minded artists to cultivate enduring industry connections.
Through Ember Productions, Szilard champions emerging talent, aiming to democratize access to filmmaking opportunities. Currently spearheading 'N.E.S.T', a transformative project involving a diverse cast and crew of 100+, Szilard envisions its evolution into a feature-length film poised for international acclaim and festival recognition.

Attila Németh
Attila Németh's passion for films and acting has been a constant thread throughout his life, starting from an early age. Despite pursuing a successful career managing a construction company in Hungary and serving in the Hungarian Defense Forces, his dedication to the film industry never wavered. His diverse background and experiences, including overseeing large teams and participating in international missions, uniquely inform his perspective on cinematic storytelling, particularly in scenes depicting combat.
Educated in Hungary and further enriched by courses in the UK, Attila brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to Ember Productions, where he plays a pivotal role as a leader.

Linda-Ray Ndlovu
A Leeds based Producer and Artist. Linda-Ray creates productions from theatre, gigs, short films, music videos right up to fundraisers all year round. Her most recent production was ‘The New Age Fundraiser 4’ which took place at project house, Armley, raising up to £1k for local creatives in the area. Here latest screen work was producing a Four-Part Docu-Series following six Acts as they get ready to perform at The Wardrobe, Leeds and, a Short Film titled ‘’Episodes’ with Reeka Studios, as well as taking 'Squidge" to the edinburgh international festival for a full run at Pleasance Courtyard.
Overall Linda-Ray is a passionate advocate for artists, creatives and the making of art. She believes in making safe spaces within communities, building up creative skills and supporting local artists.

Cole Michael Brownjohn
A young British-American filmmaker living in Leeds, Cole has always wanted to tell stories. Writing his first (unpublished) novel at the age of eleven, he quickly decided he preferred the visual arts. Studying theatre for four years, he wrote and several of his own stage plays before he started writing screenplays.
Having written a collective seven short films that have been produced, and nine feature length spec scripts of various genres, Cole has spent much of his life writing films alongside stage plays, novels, novellas, poetry and essays. If there is one thing he wants to do, it is tell stories, and in this day and age the best way to do that is to put them on the big screen — and that is what he is dedicating his life to.
