Ray Productions is asking it’s local community for donations towards ongoing projects in order to contribute to hiring freelancers and putting on new work. As a self funded company, in order to keep up with its goal to support local artists, we need your support where you can give it!

Your donations will go towards projects like SESSIONS, Scratch & Tickle, Theatre Projects, and Gigs at Ray Productions.

SESSIONS

A live recording for a local artist/band to showcase themselves and their music. RP pays local videographers - mainly being post-graduates to record and engineer each session. The final videos are then given to the artists or band, as well as uploaded on our social media.

GOAL OF PROJECT: To support grass root artists, and new videographers and engineers working as freelancers.

Scratch & Tickle

A New Writing Cabaret - a night of new work written by new local writers. Sketches, short pieces and poetry all showcased on one evening at Hyde Park Book Club.

GOAL OF PROJECT: To support and showcase new writing in theatre and grassroots venues in Leeds.

Our Theatre Projects

’Eggs Aren’t That Easy To Make’ - supporting its journey to the Edinburgh Fringe 2025

’Leo Rising’ - The development of a new play by a local Leeds artist.

GOAL: To eventually achieve each of our co-productions goals, and eventually start to work on our own original RP Production.

Gigs

To be able to pay for grassroots venues for artists gigs when approached by artists to support and help them put on their own gigs. This would be from booking venue, photographer and marketing.

GOAL: To support more grassroots artists and highlight grassroots venues in the process. Essentially to give back to the music and giging scene in Leeds. 

Ray Productions is constantly applying for external funding, but with funds being hard to get for small companies, Ray Productions is reaching out to its community. Your funds could go towards a specific project or help the general completion of some of these impactful projects!
